**About the Item:**

I wore this uniform during the 2021 season, in my return to form after my second ACL surgery! Parity was essential in that recovery: The financial stability I had thanks to my full-time position and sponsorship eliminated so much of the stress of healing from surgery as a javelin thrower, even though I knew what I was in for in my second go-round. In the 2021 season, I made my fourth Olympic Team, was named USATF Women's Team Captain, and was elected Team USA's Closing Ceremony Flag Bearer in an Olympic team-wide vote. Wearing this jersey and being empowered by Parity and my peers during that season set me up to become the best javelin thrower in the world in 2022, my final season.
